Caribbean Dyslexia Centre

The Caribbean Dyslexia Association was registered in Barbados as a charity No 268, it is a special education institution created to cater to children and adults who have dyslexia.  The Caribbean Dyslexia Centre (CDC) as the teaching arm of the organization was established with an initial student roll of 13 students on 4th October, 1994.  The Caribbean Dyslexia Centre has created a special education niche for Barbados and the greater Caribbean Region and maintains the leading role in the region.

 Project Summary

The Caribbean Dyslexia Association & Centre’s Diploma Certification Accreditation will ensure that the school continues to keep its fees low and additional teachers from the region will gain the necessary learning tools to work with students with the specific learning difficulties (dyslexia).
